Angelica

Angelica Panganiban was born in the Philippines. She is a Filipino American performer, comedian, television host and model. Panganiban was dubbed as the queen of Drama in different media. Her versatility and her experience in the field of acting is widely recognized. The word angelica roots means that only the root of the plant is utilized. But, most A. archangelica herb products and supplements are made up of seeds, fruits and/or the flowers. These products usually only use the root. In 2017, Angelica took part in season 12 of America's Got Talent where she made it through the auditions stage by performing Rise Up by Andra Day. Angelica was awarded a gold buzzer from guest Judge Chris Hardwick in the Judge Cuts Round after performing Girl on Fire by Alicia Keys. She was then sent straight to the Live Shows. The live shows saw her perform Clarity, by Zedd In the quarterfinals. Then Without You, by David Guetta during the semifinals. Angelica was then able to make it to the finals where she performed Symphony in Clean Bandit. In the show of results, Angelica performed "Stronger" with Kelly Clarkson. The final result was that she finished in second place and became the youngest ever winner in the history of the competition. Angelica Hale became very sick in 2012 when she was just 4 years old old. Her pneumonia was double caused by an aggressive strain of strep-pneumococcal. Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Egleston put Angelica Hale on ECMO support for lifesaving treatment. Her condition became severe and she experienced numerous organ failures, which included her kidneys which did not fully recover. It was then a routine of hemodialysis followed by the peritoneal dilation. After 80 straight days in the hospital, from the point of death to a long journey to recovery, she finally made it home but the course of her life changed forever. Angelica was on dialysis for over a decade half years before receiving her kidney transplant. Her mother would be the organ donor. Angelica and mom had the surgery to remove their kidneys successfully on September 13, 2013. The surgery was performed at Emory University Hospital and Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Egleston, two hospitals situated across from one another.
